Ereban : Shadow Legacy follow the fib of Ayana , the apparently last of the Ereban , and her fight against an impressive topnotch corporation that seeks to steal her freedom . As a writer , one of the thing that stood out to me the most in Ereban : Shadow Legacy was the dialogue and fictional character . Many of these characters feature iconic voice , and while I definitely recognized them , I ’m too bad with public figure to tell you exactly who was play who . However , I ’m certain musician will be able to key out the Brobdingnagian range of voice gift present in the biz themselves .
It did n’t take long for me to adore Ereban ’s eccentric , with a couple of standouts being Ayana and Mira , the protagonists and arguably one of the most authoritative characters , respectively . Serious moments hang with an air of tension and are write with beautiful metaphors and simile that paint smashing verbal pictures of what ’s being transcribed to the player . I admit to a little minute of bias here because my own committal to writing is very simile - heavy . If you were to take me , I ’d say that Ereban : Shadow Legacy wear thin its plain inspirations proudly on its sleeve . The story and graphic symbol pattern have a very grounded variety of sci - fi vibration to them , where everything look futurist yet functional and blends well with areas that , in direct contrast , experience ancient and larger than life . This , couple with the game ’s color yet saturated gloss pallet , reminds me a fate of Titanfall or Borderlands ; Ereban : Shadow Legacy looks intimate and yet palpate utterly original at the same time . It ’s a game that depend a little nostalgic and has an overall vibe that just vibrate very well with me .
This is n’t the only place where you palpate inspiration from the classic . I ’m not a big stealth gamer , with a few franchise exceptions , but Ereban : Shadow Legacy seems to have find out the correct lessons from titans in the genre . An emphasis on fast and fluid trend through stealth levels and a lot of airborne takedown remind me quite a bit of the classical Assassin ’s Creed biz . You have to keep a low profile in Ereban : Shadow Legacy , but that does n’t intend it ’s going to thrust you to cringe through the mud for an hour , either .
That being said , I sometimes feel that the detection r on enemies is a picayune bit crazy . I ’ve had moment where enemy have slightly notice me ( not alerted , but with the infamous ! symbol appearing over their pass ) as shortly as I enter a segment of the level . I ’ve also been notice for accidentally abuse half an in out of covering , with near my whole body blocked by what I ’m hide behind , nearly like a shot sending me back to the last checkpoint .
The use of shadows as a means to traverse levels leads to some implausibly immersive hardened frame . Because you may charge up or along any bulwark in the shade , the plot can create levels of ancient , broken , ruined , or inflict industrial facilities that do n’t expect like they were designed for a histrion to platform around them . These levels can be so immersive , in fact , that at times , I sort of lost myself attempt to figure out where to go next when the track was correct in front of me .
